  1. I've had a small spirl bound, portable calendar that I got for free, sitting here all year. I havent even touched it.
Because the end of the year is full of doctor appointments for myself and my elderly Mom and husband and because I have lots of courses starting and stopping at church--I'll have a nice place to record things. And can easily carry it around. I'm going to work tomorrow on compiling some things into it, so I can have them nearby the rest of this quarter.
    Thanks Becky!

  2. PS It's done! Just have to move some special notes off sticky notes to my CYL journal.
As an encouragement to others, some of these notes and lists have been piling up all year and it took less than an hour to get them all down into one planner. You can do it!

  3. Thanks for giving us a "time frame" for this project. So often we procrastinate thinking that something will take longer than it actually does!

  4. I am almost done with my calendar but wanted to post encouragement I received from my appointment with God today. Titus 1:1
"Show them how to live Godly lives....vs. 8 Love what is good. I MUST live wisely and be just. I MUST live a devout and disciplined life." Yeah, God for giving us some musts to live by. Last quarter, I went on the flat belly diet and it continues to be my lifestyle. I put on a pair of pants today and had to put them in the give away pile. They were falling off of me. My husband who has benefited by me feeding him is also experiencing loose jeans. (his only change was no white flour or sugar)
Thank you Becky for the tip on hotel planning. We were at the hotel and I set up my appointment with God the night before. Got a blanket out of the closet and my sweats ready to put on in the morning before my husband got up. I had planned on slipping down to the lobby but was able to go out on the patio. Yeah California weather. I packed some healthy snack food and was able to modify the dinner to fit. Having a plan certainly helps. By Wednesday morning I will have my calender finished. May God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior give you grace and peace.
